At her own request, Marie-Antoinette had a small farm constructed on her property for her own amusement in the 18th-century. After a magnificent renovation, the farm was taken over by a foundation that helps animals. The farm is exclusively reserved for children and minders accompany them while the parents visit the Versailles Castle. By familiarising 5-12 year-old children with nature, the Learning Farm also teaches them a few secrets. In an historical setting, children can collect fruits and vegetables and even milk the cows.
