Zebras, giraffes, elephants, bison, bears and lions... all these animals roam freely in the African reserve. Thoiry park offers an unusual way of discovering animals. From your car, you drive round the paths like a safari! A little further away, still within the Thoiry site, the zoo is home to more animals, which this time you observe in their vast enclosure. And every day at 4pm, you can help feed the wolves and tigers.

After the fauna comes the flora: an autumn garden, a garden of scents, a rose garden, French borders, an English garden... thousands of trees and blossoming plants take it in turns throughout the year to attract you with their colours and smells.
Animals, plants... And more! Children will take away unforgettable memories from the mini-farm or the interactive maze... Not to mention the mysterious island - a sort of giant warren with sound animations and a large pyramid with slides.

Children and adults then set off to discover the Renaissance château belonging to the family of the Counts of La Panouse. A guide shares secrets and anecdotes about the sumptuous apartments, the tapestries, and the furniture of the Salon Blanc (white drawing room), a Decorative Arts gem. Don‘t miss the rooms on the ground floor. They give the impression that the sun crosses the château to rise and set.
Before leaving, take a walk full of illusions in the château gardens. The further you go towards the end of the garden, the further away it seems... This is because the perspectives are inverted: the rows of trees are not parallel but become slightly further apart as you approach. An astonishing effect!

Accessibility

Most attractions are outdoor. Calm environment without dangers or obstacles. Easy to get around. Many information panels, map-guide distributed free at reception. Trained staff who adapt their presentation.  Please note: in the "Labyrinth", there is a section which is completely dark (around 15m).
