Baiser salé

An open-mind and a mulatto musical mix make Baiser Salé swing.

Like several other clubs along the very jazzy rue des Lombards, the Baiser Salé is one of the mythic amateurs of it's kind. The bar is at street level while the club is on the first floor. Concerts begin each night at 7 pm (singing) and 10 pm (jazz). The Monday jam session is famous for uniting undiscovered amateurs with world famous professionals.

The Baiser Salé (The Salty Kiss) pays tribute to musical creation with an accent on a half-cast kind of music that gives rise to new and unusual sounds. A wide choice of African grooves blend with jazzy chords and world music melodies, incorporating even classical jazz riffs. The bar opens at 5:30 pm and remains open all through the night until 6:00 am.
