Just a stone's throw away from the place de la Madeleine, a neighbourhood rich in gourmet food and wine shops, is where the Wine chose to make its show. Three floors are home to 6000 varieties of wines & spirits from all over the world, with 2000 foreign wines coming from 43 different countries, 500 reference books and loads of accessories. The rounded edges of the exclusive displays are designed to accommodate the bottles lying down, except for the spirits of course...
The minimalist design of architect Antonio de la Peña is also evident in the bar-room and the restaurant where the conferences and wine tastings are held. Sardines in olive oil accompanied by a glass of Muscadet, Foie Gras from the Landes with a touch of Sauternes or even a slice of Spanish ham «5 J» by Romero Sanchez Carvajal served with a Jerez...Moments of pure happiness, the «afternoons at LAVINIA» invite you to discover the wines with succulent home-made «tapas».
