No longer any need to introduce this centre of Parisian fashion and luxury products where women from around the world come to buy their clothes, perfumes and beauty products. The Galeries Lafayette, the one hundred year old department store on the Boulevard Haussmann, receives 25 million visitors each year in its 70,000 m². Why so successful? Because all the great names are there. From Chanel to Dior, Vuitton, Prada, Yves-Saint-Laurent, Balenciaga and so many more… And you can even take advantage of the advice of a personal shopper.

Recently a new “souliers et chaussures” (shoe) department was opened in an area of over 3,000 m². Here you can find over 150 brands, 75 of which are exclusive to the store, divided into five categories: fashion, contemporary, urban, luxury and high heels. You can also give your feet a treat in a pedicure salon, have your shoes adjusted by an expert cobbler and while you wait taste the divine chocolates and macaroons in the Pierre Hermé boutique.

Meanwhile, those husbands who enjoy good wine can wait in the new Bordeauxthèque (collection of wines from Bordeaux) by the Lafayette Gourmet wine cellar. Over a thousand references can be found, in particular a selection of exceptional Great Vintages* in a magnificent designer setting. Husband and wife can then meet up in the very cosy Archicafé or in one of the store’s other restaurants and bars.
