In 2001, a talented young pastry chef revolutionised the world of pastries with the opening of his boutique on the rue Bonaparte, in the heart of the fashion capital of Saint-Germain. His name? Pierre Hermé. His method? Eliminate the excessive decoration of the pastries to refine the taste. The mouth-watering macarons tempt the taste-buds and his Christmas logs delight the palette.
Constantly in search of new taste sensations, the man nicknamed by the American press as the « Pastry Picasso » comes up with a new collection of cakes each season.
