Paris celebrates Christmas with a route of lights.
From 01 December 2008 To 31 January 2009
"Paris illuminates Paris" is a project inviting the visitors to enjoy a route of lights in a dozen of areas. More than a hundred squares, streets, avenues and shops will be covered with contemporary lights – the bulbs are made from new materials and burn little energy.
To help the tourists with the tour of the City of Lights, a brochure will be available for free at all shops participating in the event.
