The Planètes Musiques festival promotes contemporary musicians whose work is inspired by traditional music and who want to show that music from the past is being continually reinvented and constantly renewed.
In this, its 7th year, discover the experimental approach of the François Robin Experience with their "Trafic sonore" (Sound traffic) using a veuze (a bagpipe from southern Brittany and the northern Vendée). Meanwhile Mieko Miyazaki and Sylvain Roux, with their respective instruments the koto and the fife, provide an astonishing and original meeting between two remote cultures, one from the East, the other from the West.
Also discover the festival and dancing side of traditional music with Yudal Combo and his invitation to a Breton Fest Noz as well as the energy of the Occitan trio Du Bartàs.
