A fascinating journey for children and adults into the world of the famous plastic figures…
From 10 December 2009 To 09 May 2010
Arts Décoratifs
The Toys Gallery of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs is looking back on the great story of Playmobil, the famous figures which in a few decades became one of the most popular toys in France and around the world… "Il était une fois Playmobil" tells the story of the company’s growth by exploring four main themes. The little characters hace in fact changed since they was created in 1974, adapting to modern life while maintaining the world into which children love to plunge.
You can explore all the magic of the legendary plastic people at this family exhibition. The event spans ancient and modern horsemen, pirates and Vikings, bringing together wild jungles and landscaped gardens, touching on the world of the circus and on family life… There are more than 1000 characters with their accessories in all, staged in scenes created specially by Playmobil, offering adults and children a chance to dream, imagine, play or rediscover knights, workmen and Red Indians…
