Conciergerie
This beautiful reflection on the animal figure takes shape through the works of forty-five artists. The course, all in shadow and light, takes you into the atmosphere of an imaginary forest where all the meetings are possible.
The works exhibited were designed for the large event "Monuments and Animals" and are each shown in a place in France. Today, almost all together, they form a surprising procession in the spaces of the Conciergerie.
The animal as a mirror of man, the beast as a neighbour that is not well-known or as the animal part of man, these are the considerations to which these sometimes monumental works lead you, like the wooden whale of Christian Gonzenbach or the Time of flies by Erik Nussbicker.
Dreamlike, seductive, this exhibition is like a delightful walk in the forest, with some additional surprises...
