Musée des Années 30
At the Musée des Années 30 at Boulogne-Billancourt, the stars of the 7th art follow one another but don't necessarily resemble each other. After the provocative Brigitte Bardot was honoured last year (90,000 visitors), the museum decided to pay tribute to the more discrete Romy Schneider, whose destiny was no less exceptional.
From 26 September 2011 until the end of February 2012, visitors will be able to admire the journey of the German actress with French nationality, who made Alain Delon’s heart and the hearts of millions of French people beat.
A partnership with the Berlin Museum for Film and Television also means that the 'Sissi age' will be recreated, a time when Romy Schneider freely embodied the role of the Austrian duchess and empress in 1955, by making available (courtesy of her daughter) stills of the shooting, Sissi’s dresses, previously unpublished photos, and personal and intimate belongings. Admirers of the masterful comedienne will certainly find what they're looking for!
