Grande Galerie de l’Evolution
The more you understand something, the more you grow to love it. This is the motto of the show at the Grande Galerie de l'Evolution, which reveals the arachnidan world with dream-like, playful and educational stage design.
This small, careful animal with astounding behaviour was discovered on our planet well before dinosaurs existed and many people suffer from a phobia of these eight-legged animals. Scale models, photos, films and knowledge of these creatures bring the preconceived ideas we have about spiders to an end, whose variety of species offers an incredible diversity of colours and shapes.
The discovery concludes with up and coming scientific research on the spiders silk thread and venom.
For the attention of all those suffering from arachnophobia: signs indicate 'sensitive' areas where there will be real spiders or films on spiders being screened. We are positive that everyone who knows how to fight their fears and is courageous, will make peace with this creature, which is less dangerous than it appears.
