Dominique Isserman captured the stars through his shots. In a career spanning 50 years, the French photographer has portrayed Gérard Depardieu, Jeanne Moreau, Serge Gainsbourg as well as Robert de Niro, Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan.
While she works within the advertising industry for Chanel, Dior or Lancôme, she takes more artistic sabbaticals, to create, for example, this book with the model Anne Rohart, naked, at the château de Maisons-Lafitte.
This is the spirit in which she offers the Corsican star Laetitia Casta the chance to spend three days within the state-of-the-art thermal baths of Vals, built out of the rock by the architect Peter Zumthor. Bathing in these hot waters, the beauty offers the artist her latest work in silver-based emulsion, snapshots which are also displayed at the European House of Photography.
