She invented black as the new colour, she was the first to explore visible seams and straight-cut hems, she developed the use of towelling fabrics... Sonia Rykiel is not fashionable, she personifies fashion. She’s always been one length ahead, and turned into a true symbol of innovation in the Couture world.
This show celebrating the 40 anniversary of her house will gather her most outstanding creations, pictures from Sarah Moon and Dominique Isserman, and videos of her shows.
