Wallpaper has now become a fully fledged element in the world of decoration. Widths and friezes are henceforth considered as pieces of contemporary art. That is why the Association for the promotion of wallpaper (A3P) has been organising the WallpaperLab since 2006.

This competition, born out of a partnership between the association and the Art Deco museum, is a genuinely dynamic laboratory which brings together manufacturers and creators. The five graphic designers selected among the best are therefore going to display their original work to the general public.

The black and white descriptive graphic design of Helmo, light poetry, with hints of trompe-l'oeil, of Constance Guisset or the psychedelic static screens of Leslie David are further brands of a highly active imagination, which touch us deep inside.
