Auditorium du Louvre
These ephemeral duos invite you to completely new meetings between musicians and some gems of archive cinema. Following on from Laurent Garnier (2006), Vincent Ségal (2007) and Arthur H (2008), the Louvre has invited Mathieu Chedid to conduct the new 2009 season.
The artist has therefore selected five musicians to provide music to accompany the projection of silent films by Georges Méliès.
The program includes five themed evenings based on the titles of Georges Méliès films: "M comme… Moon" with Hubert Blanc-Francard (Cassius), "M comme… Mer" with Ibrahim Maalouf and Talvin Singh and “M comme… Magie" with DJ Shalom & Co.
