Festival Rock en Seine 2010

Rock en Seine

The last pop-rock festival of the summer will have a new and outstanding line-up: cult headliners and young French talent.

From 27 To 29 August 2010
Domaine national de Saint-Cloud

It is still too early to know the programme of this key festival which every year wraps up the musical summer on the periphery of Paris.

However, you can be sure that on the stages of the magnificent Domaine National de Saint-Cloud the same quality and variety will be on offer as for the past eight years. And with the same relaxed atmosphere in which an eclectic audience, from forty-somethings to babyrockers, go from one concert to the next before stopping for a bite to eat at the long open-air tables.

The crowds will be there to dance to the music of the big names of the international pop rock scene (Franz Ferdinand in 2005, Radiohead in 2006, Bjork and Arcade Fire in 2007, R.E.M in 2008, Madness and MGMT last year) and to discover young French talents such as Gush, Hindi Zahra and The Tatianas, the 2009 Rock-en-Seine line-up, who since then have gone far.

For the 2010 edition, persistent rumours announce the mythical heavy metal group Iron Maiden, who are bringing out a new album this year, or the Californian punk rock group, Blink-182.Or perhaps Gorillaz, Beastie Boys or Portishead; the suspense will end at the end of April. Until then, keep your agenda free for 27th, 28th and 29th August.
