It is just as much the quality of its line-up as the cause it defends that pulls the crowds to this festival. From 25th to 27th June, the Hippodrome de Longchamp will once again host the Solidays festival for three marathon days of electrifying concerts in support of the fight against AIDS.

The key to its success? There is always a euphoric holiday feel to it and the “Solidarités Sida” association, which has been meticulously concocting the programme for the past twelve years, always has the best in the French and international pop rock scene on offer at an unbeatable price.

Last year a wide range of artists could be heard, from Manu Chao to Keziah Jones, Beat Assaillant, The Ting Tings, Syd Matters, NTM and Caravan Palace. They all answered the militant call.

Whoever comes, there will always be the charm of strolling from one stage to the other, from one association’s stand to another, of chatting with other fans, of discovering up-and-coming musicians and of sunbathing on the grass with friends. And after a day of non-stop concerts, you can continue until dawn in the two marquees, dancing the electro night away.
