Only fifteen minutes from Paris is Enghien-les-Bains, a town famous for its casino, lake and long history. But it is also a modern town, which every year holds Bains Numériques, the technologically and artistically state-of-the-art International Festival of Digital Art. Its programme is made up of exhibitions and competitions.
The competition is between five international artists, mixing visual art and new technologies who exhibit in the town centre during a finale, presented throughout the festival as a series of outdoor installations. On 16th June, the jury meets for the public auditions in which the artists explain their reasoning and the meaning behind their work.
The exhibition is made up of dozens of audiovisual installations, concerts and DJs, who invade the urban spaces from 12th to 19th June, aiming to build new bridges between art and everyday life.
