Asian comic strips have been popular for several years in France, mainly among adolescents. The Pompidou Center has created the Planet Manga festival with this in mind. It is an opportunity for young people to discover the manga universe over a period of four months.
Planet Manga is a fun, engaging event with a rich, eclectic program of activities for adolescents to take part in ; there is a library with over 2500 manga comic books, writing workshops, meetings with authors, including Keiko Takemiya et Mono Hagio, film projections, and the unmissable parade Cosplay. Planet Manga is like being in Asia in the heart of Paris.
