Puppets for adults? A concept strange... and wonderful! The Festival MARTO proposes original puppet shows and theatre performances for big people. For a period of four weeks, six cities in the Hauts-de-Seine stage surprising scenes from the world of the puppet masters.   More than twelve companies perform during this period. Les Aveugles (The Blind) puts the spectator face to face with the unknown: during the promenade, six men and six women, all blind, find themselves all alone in the world when the priest from their hospice disappears. Interpreting the noises that surround them, they deform both fear and reality in an effort to never have to de-bride their imagination.  In  Arm, Mireille & Mathieu, while unpacking objects at a flea market : the objects seem to contain stories … Full of poetry, often as cruel as they are comic, the interpretations unfold at a frenetic rhythm. A mad spectacle not to be missed!
