Bobino creates the event at the start of the year by welcoming the famous musical show Avenue Q (pronounced in the English way, i.e. "Avenue kiou"). Created as a parody of programmes for children, the show performed by actors and puppets combines singing and comedy sketches.

Having a quirky and readily impertinent tone, Avenue Q hones in on economic and social problems which face young people today. It is thus a question of money, sex, racism, pornography, etc.

Bruno Gaccio (formerly of "Guignols de l’info") makes his mark on the French adaptation of this show which has achieved cult status and which has already been seen by more than 10 million spectators throughout the world, from Finland to Peru, the Philippines, Brazil, Australia or the UK where the show ran for five years.
