The lion cub, Samba, who struggles to accept his adult responsibilities and his destiny to be king... This popular story, now a universal fable, has been re-worked especially for the theatre.
The original soundtrack has been enhanced: the show contains fifteen musical numbers, including five songs from the feature film, composed by Elton John and Tim Rice. Three of the five are new pop-rock songs. To magnify the African context of the book, Zulu chorals were written by South-African artist, Lebo M.
A fabulous success for the French rendition, composed of forty artists and twenty musicians, opens its second season.
