Morocco, Italy, Mexico, Mali or Rumania? You can’t decide where to go on holiday? No problem, this festival from 16th July to 06th August in La Villette will enable you to visit all of them. For more than ten years, the Cabaret Sauvage has been paying tribute to the cultures of the world. This summer, five cities are honoured, five atmospheres recreated to which you can go on an unforgettable journey. And all without needing a passport or visa!

Besides the music, which remains their speciality, in the summer of 2010 new perspectives are explored: dance, gastronomy, street art, cinema...all to ensure a complete change of scenery.

The Cabaret Sauvage has a new outside terrace, looking onto the park of La Villette, in which events are programmed four afternoons a week. On Thursday evenings the concerts are free and on Fridays and Saturdays you can hear the best-known artists from the chosen city. And of course, there is a dance on Sundays with local orchestras and DJs!

As for the atmosphere: a souk, henna tattoos and mint tea will take you to Marrakesh. Or you can listen to Aztec tales while drinking tequila and enjoying a delicious guacamole as if in the heart of Mexico. And after enjoying the pleasures of Rumanian Sibiu and the scents of Malian Bamako, Naples arrives as a busker, a commedia dell’arte play or a mouth-watering limoncello.
