Walk into the place where only the elected ones can manifest their old habits that are not always comfortable. But the abundant offer of Parisian places in good taste makes this fantasy achievable. Spending an entire evening in an exception place, for example, in a palace, is a unique experience. At Pigalle, the unique old hotel of Georges Bizet has become Café Carmen, which offers learned cocktails to taste listening at the same time to cutting-edge music. Located on the top levels of Kenzo, in front of Pont-Neuf, the Kong (created by Philippe Starck) opens its doors during the weekend to glamorous evenings. Vendôme Square, Ritz Bar is a touch of luxury where popular DJs take turns on the stage. The bar of the very modern hotel Murano Resort remains open at night, offering over 160 types of vodka, some thirty cocktails and a rare selection of fruit juice to enjoy at an electro, groove or rock meeting. The same very modern atmosphere can be found on the ground floor of Mama Shelter (another Starck hotel) where DJs from all over the world come to electrify the weekend evenings.
Very original, but strangely located in the popular district of La Chapelle, Ice Kube, in the mezzanine of the Kube hotel entrance, offers an escape in an atmosphere with a temperature under ten degrees, where one warms up with vodka cocktails. But certain bars do not need to be inside a hotel to irradiate luxury. In the heart of the Latin Quarter, the Mezzanine de l’Alcazar remains one of the posh places where one also goes just for being seen. Its worthy successor, on the side of Marais, is called the 1979, an award-winning and without complexes club-restaurant that performs diverse parties. Right beside it, on the Rivoli Street, the VIP Room remains the club where all stars passing through Paris meet. More elitist, the Baron, near Crazy Horse, always host fine people and eclectic musical evenings. The same rock-electro show and the same selection at the entrance in the case of Scop ‘Club, former Paris Paris and the Pompon, the youngest of the jet-set nights, in the 10th district.
As to the great classics, the Queen Club, on the Champs-Élysées avenue, remains an institution for those with never ending nights. More people-oriented and more comfortable, Buddha-Bar spreads its exotic-chic charm for several years now. More original, with its spaceship look, le Cab’ is acclaimed for its golden youth and the VIPs. If you wish to dance with highly sophisticated customers, go to Palais Maillot, door Maillot, where rich Parisians enjoy themselves. Former Man Ray, the 1515, and its very Renaissance decor, bring to life the 8th district, especially with its fancy and exuberant evenings of the Cirque Bonheur. Finally, the most exclusive club of the capital was imagined by David Lynch in the basement of Social Club. With its walls completely covered in gold, the Silencio opens, every evening, to only three hundred very privileged clubbers.
