From La Défense, you can take Tram 2 : this tramway will drive you to Issy-les-Moulineaux in twenty minutes with a ticket costing 2 euros. The scenery is worth the trip: you'll discover the Southern-Western outskirts of Paris: the Seine's riverside is lined with luxury houseboats and former allotments turned into beautiful gardens, and the Eiffel Tower dominates the skyline. You can choose to make a stop at the National Gardens of Saint-Cloud (Domaine national de Saint-Cloud): it used to be the beloved park of Queen Marie-Antoinette. Now, centenary carps, Trocadéro gardens (not to be confused with the ones in front of the Eiffel Tower) and even an old-style aviary remind you of this glorious past. Every year, a part of the Gardens welcomes the infamous Rock En Seine Festival.

When you reach Moulineaux tram station, get off and walk up Cours Saint-Vincent. Issy-les-Moulineaux is a true Net-city, which has alwaysbeen a pioneer in terms of interactivity. Issy also offersmore traditional pleasures. On Quai Stalingrad, you'll find the RiverCafé, a former barge turned into a restaurant. From the outside itlooks like a greenery haven, but inside it's a beautiful river-themeddining room. Its contemporary French cooking is very successful.
