Passerelle Simone de Beauvoir

The last bridge on the Seine, linking Bercy to the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, offers an undulating experience for a short walk.

The tree-lined Bercy park to the north and the ultra-modern architecture of the Bibliothèque nationale de France to the south offers a bridge across two worlds.

The Simone de Beauvoir footbridge is exclusively reserved for pedestrians, cyclists and skaters...Since the bridge doesn't actually touch the Seine, this metal structure with an oak-wood floor makes you feel like you're literally walking on air.

The footbridge is also a veritable improvisational theatre for buskers, jugglers and mimes.
