Situated Place de la Concorde, in a monumental construction built under Napoleon III, at the entry of the Tuileries Gardens, the Jeu de Paume presents 'the contemporary image', a fusion between photography and contemporary art.

For the major exhibitions, the Jeu de Paume presents the work of emerging photographic, video and conceptual artists along side the work of established international artists.
