Sound and light shows, public lectures and discussions are the daily bread at the Laboratories of Aubervilliers. Each year, a handful of artists take over the labs in this old factory reconverted into workshops.

Their purpose is to bring the white walls and empty spaces to life, giving birth to artistic endeavour. Sculptors, designers, painters or graphic artists claim the space as their workshop, presenting the results in the form of an exhibition.

The Laboratories of Aubervilliers are an invitation to penetrate the world of art and discover the spirit of the artist as he labours over his work. Here, creation is a living, breathing entity…sharing, questioning, disturbing.
