The parade « Bonheur » at the Lido is a riot of colours, costumes and special effects. An enduring success over the years.
Twenty-three decors, 80 000 litres of water for the basin and water games, 600 costumes, 150 000 palettes, 60 000 Swarovski crystals for 600 stage jewels, 20 000 watts of power, 90 projectors... the famous cabaret from avenue des Champs-Elysées has hosted this great show every evening of the year without fail since 2003. There are several possibilities : dinner and parade (7 p.m. and 11p.m.) and just the parade (9:30 p.m. or 11 :30 p.m.).
Bonheur was conceived around the main idea of the bird-woman. It was developed by Pierre Rambert, the artistic director of the place. Four universes revolve around this theme: « La Femme, Paris, l’Inde, le cinéma » (« Woman, Paris, India, Cinema »). Le Lido calls upon the best costume designers and designers of haute couture including François Lesage and Lemarie.
