The Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris presents the major works of the 20th-century as well as the latest contemporary artists.
A gigantic coloured fresco traces the history of electricity, from the biggest names to the greatest inventions. The first thing you see upon entering the museum, by Raoul Dufy, sets the tone : celebrate history in all its modernity.
The museum traces the evolution of 20th-century art across many different artistic currents, illustrated by the works of the greatest artists of all time like Matisse, Fernand Léger or Modigliani…But it also opens to new trends in contemporary art, in many disciplines : painting, sculpture, installations, photography and video.
All forms of creation…for any public. Your budding young artists are welcome to participate in artistic workshops or visits created especially for them.
