Like a giant chess set in the heart of the Palais Royal, the Buren Columns rarely go unnoticed.
The Buren Columns : surprising, amusing…Some see a futuristic imitation of the Roman ruins, while others see a disproportionate game of chess. The black and white columns dress up the entry to the Palais Royal gardens. Neatly arranged in parallel lines, the orderly columns come in all sizes and transform the courtyard into a virtual video game.
Amateurs beware… Rumor has it that your wish will come true if you manage to throw a coin on top of the highest column. Good throw !
